Project Type: Spatial Design for Brand Experience
Client: Nike
Role: Spatial design lead
Agency: Free Practice
Location: Belgrade
Complete: 2024
Scale: 120m2
This temporary architectural structure is designed for short-term event installations (1–30 days), enabling rapid assembly and disassembly. Material selection and functional form are carefully considered to ensure cost efficiency while supporting principles of circularity.
The 20 m × 9 m × 6 m structure is composed of rentable components and standard off-the-shelf materials readily available across most EU countries. The spatial concept can be easily adapted to different sites and programmatic needs.
A subtle shift in floor height between the front and rear areas of the structure, combined with a central technical volume, creates spatial zoning and a degree of privacy, forming two distinct rooms. The central volume integrates the main LED screen, private fitting rooms, storage, a technical room, and a mezzanine level for 360 DJ facilities.
Materials: stage scaffolding structure, rental stage flooring, aluminium roofing panels, polucarbonate sheet, plywood stained (furniture), linoleum flooring, standard profiles, cotton muslin, rental lighting.
